Local: In the summer of 2025, Youth Association Unisfera began working with young people in Čačak and across Serbia, helping them develop skills in human rights advocacy, digital literacy, social entrepreneurship, and youth activism. To foster a culture of active citizenship and democratic participation, the organization implements workshops, mentorship programs, and training sessions.

Regional: After establishing local activities, Youth Association Unisfera broadens its impact by collaborating with other youth organizations across Serbia and the wider Balkan region, organizing training programs, exchanges, and networking events to enhance regional youth cooperation.

National:To support youth empowerment, Youth Association Unisfera seeks to contribute to national-level policies and initiatives. It works in collaboration with educational institutions, governmental agencies, and other NGOs to promote digital literacy, social inclusion, and sustainable development.

International: At the international level, Youth Association Unisfera actively builds partnerships with European and global youth organizations to enable mobility programs, cross-cultural learning, and knowledge exchange. Through Erasmus+ projects and other forms of international cooperation, it extends its work on social entrepreneurship, gender equality, and environmental awareness, fostering broader youth engagement beyond national borders.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANIZATION

Background and experience

Youth Association Unisfera is a youth-led organization committed to promoting mental health awareness, combating discrimination, advancing inclusion and equal opportunities, supporting LGBTQ+ rights, and empowering young people with fewer opportunities, particularly those from smaller towns or rural communities. The organization strives to inspire youth to reach their full potential, foster intercultural dialogue, and encourage learning, exploration, and travel beyond their home country.

Main Goals Aligned with Erasmus+:
• Facilitate learning mobility and intercultural exchange for young people.
• Encourage youth participation in social and civic activities.
• Promote social inclusion and equal opportunities for marginalized youth.
• Strengthen capacities of youth organizations and foster international cooperation.
• Support non-formal learning, creativity, and personal development.

Skills and expertise of key staff involved in the application

Aleksandra Jaćimović combines an IT background with extensive experience in youth engagement. Active since 2019 in various Erasmus+ projects, she is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness and inspires young people to explore new horizons and embrace international learning opportunities.

Nađa Nikolić holds a degree in Economics from Romania and is deeply committed to EU values. She focuses on creating educational opportunities for young people and encouraging them to broaden their perspectives through international experiences.

Igor Janošević has a background in IT and significant experience with Erasmus+ projects. He is passionate about art, film, and creative expression. Through Erasmus programs, he has developed meaningful intercultural connections and discovered the transformative power of self-expression and cultural exchange.
